a one woman show

I was always a dessert person. As a high schooler, I would spend hours transiting to and from downtown Toronto for creative and masterful pastries and treats.

It was only during the pandemic that I dived deep into baking. I think it was my way to create beauty amidst all the chaos. I started sharing my baking progress on Instagram, and reached out to local businesses. I shared my treats with the KW community and eventually, had my first popup at The Pulao Gals!

After a few months of biz prep things — registering ooey zhuey as a sole proprietorship, finding commercial kitchen spots, and polishing off some recipes, I can now offer my treats to y'all. I hope I can serve you soon!
